Is there anything like Post COVID? Or is living with this crisis, the new normal? No matter which part of the world you live in, your lifestyle and needs have changed. Some of these changes may be temporary, while a lot of them are likely to stay for a long time. All this changes the entire business landscape of the world. Know it or not, but not going out to eat, preferring services at home rather than going to the salons, need for high speed internet, hunt for a stable job, desire to do something for the society; all these and more are shaping the way different industries are reacting to this crisis here and now and changing the core strategy.
The book ‘Inflection Point’ is based on first person accounts of top leaders across different industries on the emerging challenges and opportunities in this new world. The leaders share their insights about how their industries are impacted. These are candid stories of how the pandemic is impacting them at personal levels, how they are balancing employee well-being and investor interests. The diversity of the industries brings in many dimensions in these engaging conversations. Be it work from home impacting a top broadband company like ACT Fibernet or needs to get our Air conditioners repaired without worrying about the safety protocols being followed changing the entire operations for Urban Company (aka Urban Clap) or a top designer who designed for BCCI, PMO, Bollywood movies adapting and working on designer masks to generate employment; each story is unique and offers leadership lessons generations will benefit from.
Each chapter is dedicated to a leader and details how the organisation realized the depth of the pandemic, their immediate set of priorities, impact on industry landscape and strategy, employee wellbeing, personal lessons as a leader.
